Started a temp and very flexible job checking DVDs yesterday. Not much pay but am meeting some interesting people...not surprisingly writer/directors making their way in LA.
Saturday, Kim and I, my parents, and my brother John took a train ride through orange and avocada groves in Fillmore. Many films were shot in that town because it still has the old west look. Not too developed. Then we stopped by the winery there.

Cool Pam! Hope the people you meet are really nice and you can make some good contacts. The train ride sounds really fun -- and, of course, the winery visit sounds great to me. Is the wine any good there?
