Had our first anniversary on Monday. Kim just came back from a NY visit the day before and it falling on a Monday because we got married on a Sunday, we decided to have dinner nearby. We checked out a BBQ place on Topanga Canyon Road that had a casual outdoor dining. It was more casual than we expected but I liked that. We can even bring out own wine next time. Kim did better on the gift department than I did. I really didn't expect to trade gifts but I got him a lotto ticket, which I still need to check (you never know), and a BBQ tool set. The tool set turns out not to be what our grill needs so I returned it. I suggested getting an indoor tree which he had wanted. We'll call it our anniversary tree! We'll have to pick it out this weekend. One that grows well and easily. Kim scored by getting me some scrapbook stuff from Kate's Paperie. Very cool. A year has sure gone by fast. Married life is better than I thought it would be :)
