Been very busy lately. Not because of the holidays but because I got more freelance work and couldn't pass them up. I ended up spending much of my hard earned* dollars paying for bodyshop work on my car. Kim calls it my "blond" moment. I'll call it my "Chrissy Snow" moment. Does that make it more P.C? I blame it on tandem parking. I blame it on the man who invented tandem parking... I blame it on the architect that put a support column next to every existing parking space in the garage... (there are hundreds)... Only I've backed out of that spot many times before without having a "blond" moment. Actually what made it my "blond moment" was that after I hit one pole with the front of my bumper, I proceed to back into another pole with the back of my bumper. I want to blame it on a man! A woman would have thought of a way to put support on the building without putting a pole next to every single parking spot in the place.

I further blame it on a man because as we separately get estimates for the damage... my quotes were twice as much as Kim's. I am not exaggerating. (Thus no exclamation points.) This is the time I wish I was an investigative reporter. Don't get me started on the car industry that I can do little but depend on around here.


* Hard earned as in watching Mission Impossible, the TV series, multiple times in different languages and subtitles. May go into the painful details of watching stereotyping, 70's style, another time.
